WOMEN'S EQUIPMENT

Women's Motocross Equipment: Fox Gear for Female Riders

Women's equipment covers motocross riding gear cut and sized specifically for female riders: jerseys, pants, gloves and matching kit combinations for the track, enduro loops and trail days. Whether you are buying your first set of gear or replacing a worn race kit, this category at Foxracing.si brings together women's motocross clothing from Fox in one place.

What this category offers

• Motocross jerseys - lightweight, breathable long-sleeve tops with a longer tail so they stay tucked in, designed to move freely in the attack position and to be worn over or under a chest protector.
• Motocross pants - reinforced riding pants with leather or abrasion-resistant panels on the inner knee and heat shield zones, cut for a women's waist-to-hip ratio and shaped to sit over boots.
• Gloves - thin-palm gloves in women's sizes that keep lever feel and grip while protecting the hands from blisters, roost and brush.
• Gear sets - jersey and pant combinations in matching colourways, the simplest way to buy a complete, coordinated riding kit.

How to choose women's motocross gear

• Fit and sizing: motocross gear is meant to be close but not tight. Measure your waist and hips and check the brand's size chart rather than assuming your usual jeans size - MX pants use their own numbering, and pant length should reach the top of your boot without bunching at the knee.
• Room for protection: if you ride with knee braces, choose pants with a roomier knee panel or size up one step. Jerseys should clear a chest protector or body armour without pulling across the shoulders.
• Ventilation and season: perforated jerseys and laser-cut vents help in summer heat; for cold or wet riding, plan for a base layer underneath rather than a heavier jersey.
• Materials and durability: look for stretch panels at the knees and crotch for mobility, leather or synthetic heat panels where the pant meets the bike, and ratchet or hook-and-loop waist closures that hold their adjustment.
• Discipline: pure motocross kit is lighter and vented; enduro and trail riders often want more durable fabrics and pockets. Match the gear to where you actually ride most.

Brands

This category features Fox, one of the best-known names in motocross apparel, with women's jerseys, pants and gloves designed around a female fit rather than downsized men's patterns.

Frequently asked questions

Can women wear men's motocross gear?

Yes, but women's-specific pants and jerseys are cut with a different waist-to-hip ratio and shorter torso and sleeve proportions, which usually means less bunching at the waist and better freedom of movement.

How should motocross pants fit?

Snug at the waist without needing the belt fully cinched, loose enough at the thigh and knee to bend freely, and long enough that the cuff sits over the top of your boot when you are seated.

Do I need a jersey and pants in the same size range?

Not necessarily - jerseys use letter sizes (S, M, L) and pants use numeric sizes, so check each size chart separately. Matching sets are sold so the colourways coordinate, not the sizes.

What do I wear under a motocross jersey?

Most riders wear a moisture-wicking base layer, plus a chest protector or roost deflector, and knee protection under the pants.
