That's why Fox Racing partnered with Giro and ZEISS Optics and introduced a revolution in optics – the VIVID lens technology, now available in FOX VUE and Airspace premium eyewear.
VIVID lenses were originally designed for snow sports, but their advantage in optimizing visibility performs exceptionally well in mountain biking as well. VIVID technology brings dull light to life by enabling high-contrast vision in low-light environments, such as dappled light in forests, morning fog in valleys, or transitions from shadows to full sun at higher speeds. Rather than completely blocking blue light like conventional lenses, VIVID selectively transmits its key spectrum.
With this it optimizes the cyclist's vision by blocking the spectrum of light that causes flat lighting conditions, allowing for clearer perception of terrain while riding. Diminished vision means reduced performance – but not when you're on the trail or track with VIVID lens technology.

While polarized lenses help reduce glare by filtering reflected light, VIVID lenses eliminate poor light, enhance contrast and color clarity, and reduce eye strain.

Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is the amount of light that passes through a lens. VLT of lenses is expressed as a percentage: the lower the percentage, the less light passes through, the higher the percentage, the more light passes through.
VIVID pink lens has 53% VLT, making it perfect for trail driving as it provides high-contrast vision in low-light conditions, such as dappled light in forests, morning fog in valleys, or transitions from shadows to full sun at higher speeds.
Our VIVID blue, chrome, orange and green - Spark lenses have a darker 25% VLT. This makes them ideal for brighter open trails, desert and dune riding or sunny and partly cloudy days on the track. Clear lenses are excellent for darker environments, evening rides and road use.
