Fox Youth Baseframe Pro Long Sleeve Kids' MTB Protective Shirt

Fox Youth Baseframe Pro Long Sleeve is a children's long-sleeve protective shirt for young MTB riders who need shoulder, elbow, chest and back protection, but still require plenty of freedom of movement and good breathability while riding. It is designed specifically for children and teenagers aged approximately 6 to 14, and is worn as a snug protective base layer under an MTB jersey.

Removable Koroyd® protective inserts with a patented auxetic structure cover key areas of the upper body. An auxetic structure refers to a special geometric material design that adapts under load, enabling a combination of mobility and effective impact energy management. Elbow and shoulder protection is certified to EN1621-1 Level 1, back protection to EN1621-2 Level 1, and chest protection to EN1621-3 Level 1.

What is the auxetic Koroyd® structure?

Auxetic materials have a special internal geometric structure that responds differently under load than conventional materials. In Koroyd® protection, this design allows the inserts to adapt to the body's movement while still being engineered to manage impact energy. Elbow and shoulder protection – EN1621-1 Level 1

The Koroyd® inserts at the elbows and shoulders are certified to the EN1621-1 Level 1 standard. The long sleeves allow the protection to be integrated directly into the base layer and also cover the arms, an area not covered by sleeveless or short-sleeve versions of the protection.

Back protection – EN1621-2 Level 1
