Fox Rampage RS Crypt represents the pinnacle of Fox's full-face MTB helmet lineup. It was developed for racers and the most demanding downhill and enduro riders who refuse to compromise on protection, weight, fit, and comfort. It is the next generation of the legendary Rampage Pro Carbon model and a helmet into which Fox has combined its most advanced technologies for gravity mountain biking.
A lightweight carbon shell, MIPS® Integra Split, a dual-layer protective construction, advanced ventilation, and a premium Ionic+® interior form a whole designed for riding at the highest level. This is a helmet for moments when speed rises, lines get more demanding, and the equipment simply has to do its job.
MIPS® Integra Split – advanced protection inside the helmet
The heart of the Rampage RS protective system is MIPS® Integra Split. The system is integrated directly into the helmet's construction and is designed to help reduce rotational motion that can act on the head in certain impacts.
Two layers of protective material can slide against each other in a controlled manner, helping the system absorb and redirect part of the energy and forces upon impact. The result is a sophisticated protective construction without the sensation of an additional, separate system inside the helmet.
Carbon shell – high strength without unnecessary mass
The outer shell is made from carbon fiber, chosen for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. In a full-face helmet intended for aggressive riding, reducing unnecessary mass is especially important—the lower load on the head and neck means more comfort and a more natural feel during long days on the bike.
Beneath the carbon shell is a dual-layer protective construction designed to manage energy in impacts at different speeds.
Built for speed
The Rampage RS is not a trail helmet that has gained a chin bar. Its design stems from the world of downhill racing. The helmet's shape, protection, ventilation channels, and fit are developed for conditions where speeds are high, the terrain is rough, and mistakes are costly.
Channels through the EPS direct air through the interior of the helmet and help improve cooling during intense riding. Thus, the Rampage RS combines the protection of a full-face construction with the efficient airflow you need on long descents and race stages.
Premium Ionic+® interior
The premium feel continues on the inside. The Ionic+® liner and cheek pads are soft, comfortable, and designed for effective moisture wicking and control of unpleasant odors.
The interior and cheek pads are removable and washable. The included thicker inner liner and thicker cheek pads allow additional fit customization so the helmet sits on the head as a true racing full-face helmet should.
Ready to race
The two-position visor allows adjustment according to riding style and is compatible with a GoPro® camera. The Rampage RS also meets the requirements of the ASTM F1952 standard for downhill use and the NTA 8776 standard for use on faster electric bicycles.
